Officers' Mess

The RHFC Officers' Mess is a vital part in continuing our tradition of interacting with members of the local community.  It not only introduces our current Officers to our Associate Members, Veterans, and Guests, but also provides a forum for members of the community to interact and socialize with one another in a traditional military environment.

The Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada (RHFC) is one of the oldest regiments in Canada and first came into its existence during the War of 1812.  Since then it has evolved from a group of Teamsters hauling supplies to the Primary Reserve Regiment of today.  The RHFC has a rich and lengthy history.  It has contributed many volunteers to numerous wars culminating in Canada's efforts in Afghanistan.

The Library and Games Room is a place where Officers come to relax and engage in entertainment such as billards.  It is also a place where research can be done, through the extensive library collection.  This collection includes information not only regarding the Unit history, but the history of the Canadian Forces in general.
